Look into a vegetarian diet for preventing cancers and other diseases. Checkout the Christian Vegetarian Association, at http://www.all-creatures.org/cva/vegbenefits.htm , and VegTV, at http://www.vegtv.com/ , for more information on this. Especially watch the John Salley video where he mentions a family member who beat a cancer condition with a vegetarian diet. I've heard of other people who have done the same. A little research should turn up more information on this. If I had leukaemia or wanted to prevent it I would definitely go on a strict vegan diet and avoid all junk food.

i had a neice that died with leukaemia.there is no way to prevent it.i know i went through this when my neice had it.good luck on your assighment.

dont live in areas of high amounts of radiation. for example, dot live in Chernobyl,Hiroshima, Nagasaki, various pacific islands, and also various areas in the Mojave desert.
