It might be that they were telling a lie, but normally they r not supposed to. It is illegal from my point of view 2 lie 2 customers. Or just go back 2 that store and ask 4 how long it should stay in the freezer and ask how cold the temperature should be.

My lenses work with the amount of direct uv rays present, if yours are not getting dark at all, then you need to take them back. Putting them in the freezer is hardly professional advice, and I doubt that is what the manufacturer would advise doing. Also, if they are not real, I would contact the better business beareau and report them.

I don't know why they wouldn't darken unless you don't have them. You may have ordered the transition and not got it. Did you put them in the freezer? Did it work? I have the transitions and they work very well. Almost too well, because they do darken in the cold, even if it's dark.

You need to report this dishonest professional to the authorities. Take back your lenses and demand your money back, then go somewhere else- a place where they don't cheat their customers. Also tell everyone you know not to go to where you went....

because they are only sensitive to ultraviolet light, so when the exposure is light so are the glasses, and they won't darken in a car because the windshields are already coated with a anti ultraviolet shield.

Put them in a sunny window, for a day or two. This will darken them best. In my experience.

If they don't darken in bright sun after a couple of minutes, you got scammed.
