No country starts out perfect and only hard work and dedication can make it a great place to live,Americans went thru many hard ships and bad times to achieve its way of life.Then here comes the illegal from Mexico crying that my country is not a good place I cant support my family ,and instead of staying the course thru thick and thin and making their country better they come here to the USA and expect to be welcomed with open arms.Go or stay in Mexico develop your own country ,all that pride of Mexico you have here in the US after you have been here 30 days,take that back home and build your own country.I for one am sick of hearing about it ,Illegal is Illegal
its a crime.Id never leave the US and any one is a fool to tell another American that its ignorant,but to illegals go home fix Mexico first.

As a citizen of the USA I have a voice every election day to attempt to change something I don't like about our country. I don't have a problem with immigrants coming to the USA ...IF they come legally through the front door! What I object to is their sneaking over in the dark like snakes in the grass. It's illegal and that is my objection! They are breaking the law and need to be deported. The government needs to access fines to employees who hire without checking legality and landlords need to be fined if they rent to illegal aliens.

Just because an American makes a 'complaint' about America(USA) does not mean he is ready to run away from it. Why leave just because something doesn't suit you? That is the lazy, cowards way out. If there is something you don't like, either try to change it to be better or just be quiet. Although, there are times when people just need to vent.
The illegal immigrants LEFT their country. They did not fight THERE for change. They came HERE (USA) to fight IT'S laws for rights they don't have and vent HERE instead of in their own country. They should have stayed in their own country, united together, protested in the thousands, flew their flags there, demanded rights they should have THERE instead of being cowards and running to the USA for everything.
USA citizens HAVE the right to complain in the USA about the USA, illegal immigrants DO NOT.

Most of the 'well leave then' that I've seen is against illegal immigrants. They don't belong here and if they are going to cut it down, they should leave.
Changing ones own country is different.

Actually that expression "If you don't like it, leave" is never directed against someone who is a citizen (for the most part anyway) but against those who sneak in and then complain about things when they get here. The latter part is directed to those who would come here illegally, citing how bad things are in their country as the reason for illegal entry here. The question is valid, if things are really that bad, why not fix them rather than leave? Especially those that leave their family behind to suffer until they can 'send for them'.

Dolce Vita does NOT speak for the majority of people who are against illegal immigration. Her question was stupid. The typical American will NOT tell people to just leave if they don't like how things are going. The t ypical American will encourage to fight for their rights, therefore, they will encourage illegal immigrants to stay in their own countries and make things better for themselves and their families THERE. A true American will fight for what is theirs and NEVER back down!
Don (up there) has a problem: He is ashamed of his race and he has a lot of shortcomings that he needs to blame on "they pick on me for my race!" in order to feel okay about the fact that he is a LOSER! Because we are here legally, illegals are not ... they come over here for a free ride then they whine about not getting more ..
What needs to happen is a verry simple answer Mexicans need to leave the U.S. and return to Mexico. From there they can fix their own govermet.
