Red has long been held as THE colour to use for pike lures.... however more important is the action and sound the lure makes when retrieved through the water to trigger the pike into action

I have caught pike on several different colors, the problem with this is YOU have to figure out what color works best THAT day. It changes from day to day
I always start with a perch lure

Anything that reflects light, or is very shiny.
bright colors like, yellow, lite blue and so on are very good.

see what king of bait are in the lake you are fishing . then go big bait , the bigger the bait the bigger the fish
