Dear rxQueen: Good question - thank you!
We were designed for love. Before the Separation and at Home in our Reality - enfolded within our Creator Who is spirit-mind, and we like Him - our Connection with Him was so immediate you could say He was our Breath. Through the One Mind channel of all spirit-minds Created, we received His constant overflowing of Love and delight in His Children and Creation process. We never knew anything but this. It was our sustenance, our Bread of Life. But it's a different feeling than what we experience in physical life. Divine love has a different feeling. Earthly love is a physical feeling/emotion that has a heavier energy to it.
Divine love is so powerful that the human body can not withstand the full force of it. Only spirit, in the Father's likeness can take it in fully, and flow it out to the rest of the Kingdom and back to God again! We intake and outflow in our Reality. Yet it is a softer energy when we have the good fortune to experience it in a tiny amount - that we can bear. At once, it is softer, but more powerful than human love through the human emotions.
Therefore, I think, given Who we truly are (God's design) we know "a thing or two" about the Laws of heritage - The Kingdom - that we must Know and feel love before we can give it away. You must be filled before you have anything to offer out. That is the Law of God.

Of course! God created us, that includes our emotions and that includes love. Yes, love is also a God-created thing. He created you in His own image (Genesis 1:27), He commands His angels to guard you (Psalms 91:11), He sent his Son to die for your sins (John 3:16), and the greatest commandment is to Love (John 13:34 and 1 Corinthians 13). All this for LOVE. So yes! I believe he first loved us. (Romans 8:37-39)

I believe GOD made us in HIS image and that would include love. I think our love for God is no more than a reciprocation for the love GOD displayed to ADAM and EVE and from times beyond that. I do not believe GOD would give us the ability to feel love any le4ss than he did.

I guess you can only answer this if you've ever been in love. Personally, i have no idea if its true or not. But sometimes i think that love is just something someone came up with to make life have a purpose.

Love is a choice, my dear one. And God is the one who gave us the choice to love or to not love.
Not everyone will follow thru of course, thus the crime and killing and abuse that takes place.
I think most of us have the capacity to love one another.
I also think that when people don't reach out and keep to themselves, like saying hi on the street to a stranger or in a supermarket, it may not be a lack of love, it may be lack of self esteem.
I don't think love was evolved into our thinking. We were taught to love by our parents, cuz they were taught by their parents. Some were not taught love by their parents, but they still have the ability to love.
Of course God designed us this way. His love is what keeps me going. His love is what He wants us to show others, and reach out to others who need love.

Because of his loveing us in making us in the first place.
He is our father in heaven and loves us very much but he is not our butler and solves all of our problems.
He gave us life and a planet full of nice things. The rest is up to us. He never gave Adam and Eve a house, or a car or even roads. He gave them life. So that when Adam built a house he would cause Eve to say WOW are you terriffic or what!
Self esteem! Then she learns to weave cloth and makes a blanket. Wow, now she has self esteem.
Later she would have made clothes and shoes and purses.

Because it is how God made us. And I'm so thankful for His love and all the love in my life. And for the opportunity to share His love with the world.

I have to agree with you, it is a gift from God. not just to simply love but to put others before yourself, to have compassion (concerned passion, concerned loved) for others. To treat others in the manner in which you would like to be treated yourself. In short to become selfless instead of selfish. Sounds easy doesn't it? But the simple fact is it's not. Self always finds a way to getting the way.
That is the human in each of us, we are by nature very selfish and to be selfless is not in our nature. It is a gift from God, a gift to be cherished
