In my opinion we can do and I urge you to do the right thing by register to vote and learn about your government and history as well as international policy that your government involves. Before you make any judgment you need to make sure you know what is going on before you start a movement as a grass root. Then connect people around the world. You can recruit from Yahoo forum and spread your desire among your peer and raise money to fight the right cause.People will hear you when you respect others and you are decent person.Life is not fair but we an educated human can make it better.Money and power means nothing if it is not from the people, to the people and with the people.

People has the right to change the government through public initiative under the constitution wherein a required number people can gather signatures and petition the government to change its government. If this is not possible, revolution is the proper action.

Since the government has the authority by the constitution to use force against the people, the people can use force to drag the government members down to the streets and assign clean people instead, but that's not mentioned in the constitution, so it's not constitutional.

At this point in time, it would be very difficult for a common person to change anything about the government.

The only way for an individual to change things would be for them to participate in the government by getting elected, which is a challenge in and of itself.

The only other way to change things would be for a mass amount of people to band together and demand change. That is also very unlikely to happen, because I believe that most individuals either don't know enough or simply do not care enough to demand change.

By refusing to believe whatever the gov't says. Right now, whatever they say, via CNN of course, people believe without question. Nobody questions anything, or holds the gov't accountable for the stories and lies that they tell. There is evidence everywhere that the gov't is not altruistic, that they will lie about anything, that it is a gov't of and for the corporate interests, and that they are inept and incompetent. Yet, whatever comes out in the press releases is accepted without challenge. They will remain unaccountable and do whatever they want for as long as they are allowed.

If you want to. Vote. Propositions which have wide popular backing tend to be enacted into law (irrespective of how wise they actually are), but many issues are disputatious and getting agreement on them to the point that government will do something is not easy.

Yes, by getting rid of our APATHY, and start caring abpout what is happening to us, and telling those elected officials of ours, that they work for us, the people, and not the other way around. It has to be a united effort of at least 75-80% of Americans, or it will NOT work.
