These are very good and easy to make. They are very tasty.
1 lb diced potatoes
3 tablespoons oleo
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 small onion, thinly slice then cut in half
1/4 cup parmesan cheese

In frying pan, put butter or margarine; let butter melt then layer potatoes. Season with salt, garlic powder and pepper.
Cook 8 minutes with pan covered, stirring now and then on medium heat.
Add onions and cook uncovered for 8 minutes or until potatoes are tender, turning frequently.
Just as you take it off the stove, add 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

Not knowing what you have in your fridge makes this almost impossible to answer. Best bet is to tell grandma that you lack ingredients. If she is a good grandma she will understand. If you want to message me and tell me what food you have on hand, I'll do my best to help you.

Good luck.

Did you tell your grandma no one is home and there isn't any food in the house? No one should expect a meal if they come uninvited. They should pick up something for dinner on their way over.
