They are the speeds that correspond to how fast your DVD burner can burn. Usually higher is best, but only if your burner can do it.

So, if your burner is 16X, use the 16x discs. If it can only burn 4X, you can still use the 16x blanks in a lot of cases. As long as it says 1x-16x.

in my view i think of sli is a waste of money. There at the instant are not any p55 motherboards that do genuine x16 sli. i'd of chosen a motherboard that purely did one socket x16 and have been given a 5870, or in case you have the money get a 5970. Im undecided how having 0.5 the bandwidth will result overall performance on a 5870. in the tip i'd in all probability nevertheless purchase the 5870 because it is extra advantageous overall performance consistent with dollar than any nvidia card. Or i'd wait till the recent nvidia enjoying cards come out and purchase certainly one of them, yet you would be waiting a jointly as.

Today's price largely depends on dye quality, not speed. Although brand-name coming to play too, I found while Sony is a big name, its blanks are best avoided.
