Yes, much to young to become a parent. At age 14, she still should be wanting to go out with friends, go shopping at the mall, just hanging out... but if she is a parent, she will have other responsibilities and probably won't be able to do the things that she used to be able to do. Having a child/baby changes your life in so many ways. She is still a child and should be able to have a childhood... but after having a baby, she will have to grow up and be responsible for that baby. Having a baby and caring for the baby is very time consuming and this girl has basically given up a lot of things that she should be able to do.... so sad.....

Yes it is too young to have a child at 14 years of age. Having a baby is a big responsibilty, it's not a doll. A 14 yr old needs to be a child not a parent, because what is a 14 yr. possibily going to teach a baby. I am totally against that...

14 is way to young to be a parent. At 14 the maturity is not there to handle being a mother. What happens is the grandparents will raise it if the girl keeps it.

I happen to agree with you about this girl being too young. I see that some other people here are talking about adoption. Perhaps maybe her own mother could adopt the child as her own, or another family member, as these people are saying. This was Jack Nicholson's story, by the way, with his "sister" actually being his mother.
However, what is more important than anything you have written is that no one involved seems to have asked for your opinion. Even though you may be concerned about this girl, this is just one of those things that has nothing to do with you. It's for her and her parents/guardians to decide, isn't it?

Yes. Even her body is not yet mature. Her emotional maturity at that age is not where it needs to be to be able to provide all the sacrifice necessary for healthy parenting. With an extraordinary amount of love, patience, and support from her parents, it is possible this child will be okay, but even the pregnancy is likely to be tumultuous an complicated.

yes. all people need to wait till they know they are financially emotionaly stable. Know that they are ready to take on that responsibility, have the proper home and love for the baby, and know that kids have a difficult time only having one parent. at this time she's way too young, she's still a child herself.

Many children have babies everyday, the biggest factor is does she have assistance and role models. there are parenting classes available. Having babies so young is hard on a body. hopefully it won't be repeated soon. but often it is just the start of a long line of babies. maybe with help and guidance she will pull through and survive this and her baby as well.

At 14 there is no way she's ready to be a parent. Even though adoption may not be what she thinks she wants to do, she still may need to consider it. Even a family member who want children may consider adopting the child. She will miss a lot of important milestones in her life if she tries to handle it herself.
