you are a spirit, you have a soul, and you live in a body. soul and mind are the same thing, when Adam and eve sinned their spirit died, (meaning that it lost contact with God,) when their Spirit died then their mind of soul took control of the body, when you are reborn your spirit is reconnected with God, but your mind has been in control for so long that there is a power struggle between the spirit and the mind, your mind says that is not possible, and you spirit says anything is possible with god. Go with God.

I've heard different things, from nothing their the same to everyone has a soul, but when you become a Christian and accept Christ into your life then you are filled with the Holy Spirit. Your soul then becomes a spirit.
Of course you askes according to the Bible,but, I believe it's something like that in the Bible, I'm not 100% sure right now and I can't find it any where. I think it's gonna be one of those days when I can't fins anything.

Everybody is born with a soul. A soul is your conscience and your super ego (as psychologist terms it). A soul tells you everything about morals which is the difference between right and wrong.
Now, the spirit in bibilical terms is God's spirit living within you. this spirit is called the Holy Spirit/Holy Ghost. This spirit only exist if you are a Christian as it is a gift from God. the spirit serves as a counsellor to guide and to comfort. (Some christians believe once you become a christian, your soul and your spirit merges others think they are still a seperate entity. i believe neither party are convincing!).

soul = breath life, yer breathing
spirit = god or a gift from god
last would be 'body'
so ... plants have body
dogs, cows and people have 'soul'
christians have 'spirit', being born again.
Adam and Eve had spirit (so god could talk to them) when they ate the fruit god asks 'where are you?'.
old testament ... the 'spirit of the lord' was on a leader a prophet, not in them like in the NT.

the soul is who you are it is what God values and what the devil wants to steal. the spirit is the infuence that you let control your soul. You can give your life to God and let him rule in your life or do nothing and let the devil control you.
You just need to ask Jesus Christ (son of God) to come into your life and forgive you for the mistakes you've made against God( we all have) but God wont forgive you until you ask. He made it a volunteer thing, no one is forced. You choose.

The spirit is love and understanding, you know the teachings of Jesus mainly.
The soul is what God put in there. Who knows it is not easily described or pointed out and to try would be like saying you understand God...who would dare do that?
