I've met some Christians who are afraid of atheists and agnostics. They're usually Fundamentalists, though. I'm Catholic, and I don't recall ever being warned from the pulpit against the so-called "dangers" of atheism. I have some atheist friends and co-workers, and we get along fine.

Oh yes. especially on Yahoo! Answers. I get hate mail everyday. Especially when one finds out that I'm a Satanist. I actually just replied to a christian poster that said I don't represent the "pride" of Satan and I look like Rosie O 'donnel. LOL! It's just part of the territory. Gotta deal with the loonies that are too far gone.

I don't know about you, but I have always heard, "I'll believe it when I see it". Well that is how I think too. Do you believe in Aliens, NO. At least not unless you have experienced something to make you belive. Now, why should we believe in something we haven't seen. Faith, I know. That is what Christians would say. I have faith. Faith that the sun will come up tomorrow, faith that I will eat again, that I will be safe. But, I am sick and tired of christians judging me. In their belief system, isn't that God's job? I am my own person. I treat others well, and that is enough for me. So, if people need religion to make themselves feel better about themselves for whatever reason, then good for them. I just choose not to hide behind excuses!

"If quoting the Holy Bible to atheists is "idiotic," can an analogous be stated for preaching atheism to Christians?" certain, and that is precisely why i do not do it. we do not push our perception in evolution, we talk about that you won't be able to reject the technological awareness except you recognize it properly sufficient to really seem at it. i stumble on it embarrassing even as people say 'oh i trust in technological awareness, it truly is like my faith' because it makes us seem stupid. Atheism does not equate to evolution via ways.

If you really are an atheist-if you totally reject God-would you just read Romans 1:18-32. Its a short read, but it gets right to the point about people like you. Read it-then tell yourself it is not true. Then look at yourself in a mirror-did it describe you?

Unequally Yoked -
2 Cor.6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

The government and churches keep them scared as part of their strategy. I'm shocked at how ignorant people can be, America had so much potential
