New Presario which has burned in somewhere that IE will only use ie.redirect.hp.com as its homepage...The menu under Tools on IE will not do the job...Most of the registry keys I have looked for do not exist, and the ones setting "StartPage" to this URL will not allow me to modify them...Even though the permissions on these keys say that they can be modified...
Now that we have established that I DO know a little about what I am doing, please do not simply tell me to use a different browser...Others may be better, but I want to beat these @#$*(s and change what I have to what I want it to be...

Registry keys !!!!!!!!That's a bit xstream.
If i couldn't go Tools>>Internet options>>Use current. i would be back to where i bought it and shove it where the sun don't shine.

have u try to go to internet opins in control panel in the address bar set it to whatever u want web pg save it got to ie and see if it goes there for default blowser good luck i have one i did this no prob ..
