I told my bf first that i loved him but he said he could not lie to me and cannot say it to me just now as he did not feel this way. We have been together almost 2 yrs and he was overseas working for 10 months and now he is back I thought that he would learn to treasure the relationship like me since we have been apart so long.
I am quite hurt by this but I rather he not lie to me.
We are trying to work through our relationship. However he has a problem that he can play pc games for sometimes 15 hrs a day! And I feel that as he spends more time on playing the game than me, that I am not that important to him. We are living together atm therefore I feel like he is taking me for granted. I am now finding a place to live as we have talked about this and feel like its best.
In his actions I can feel that he cares about me deeply but I need reassurance and to hear those 3 words. Is there hope that one day he will say those 3 words to me?

There's always hope. Sounds like you do need to be living apart though. Once you really start taking care of you and become more independent maybe he'll wise up.

TEll him how you feel. Ask him why he wont say he loves you. Ask him why he doesnt love you yet. Tell him that you wanna have a future with him but you cant if he doesnt love you. Cuz personally i think its really painful going through a relationship where u deeply care about someone but they dont feel the same way. So either get him to answer ur questions on why he hasnt said it or tell him you cant go on this way because its hurting you

Wow, he plays 15hrs a day! You gotta be the most understanding girlfriend in the world. If my girlfriend allowed such behavior then I would seriously question her mental health. Look, just tell him that you need him to change because he's only interested in himself and not you. If he refuses then dump him, simple as that. He IS taking advantage of you and it sounds like he's living the good life. In other words, he's got some of the freedoms of being single yet he has a girlfriend that loves him. Weird. He's on easy street, you have to be more assertive and bossy. Trust me, this will get his attention. If it doesn't he's not worth your time.

I would say kick him to the curb. He does not sound very ambitious anyways. Find somebody who has a future away from the computer. Just my thoughts. hope you find happiness regardless of what happens.

Respect yourself and let this guy know that two years is long enough. If he can't say he loves you then it's because he doesn't. He needs to grow up and you need to start dating again.

look my boyfriend the first time i told him that he freaked and didn't know what to say so he told me the same thing ur boyfriend told u but three months after that he told me he loved me so i think u shouldn't get involved with hiim if in 2 years he steel doesn't feel that way he'll never feel that way so good luck
