a birdie is one under par, a bogey is one over par, an eagle is two over par...there is also a double eagle which is very rare and can be scored on a par 4 or 5...in a par 4, its a hole in one...in a par 5, its a score of 2...the double eagle is also called an albatross

First of all, it's a bogey, not a bogie or boogie. A bogey (+1) is one over par, a birdie is one under par (-1) and a birdie is two under par (-2)

An eagle is two under par, a birdie is one under par, and a boogie is something that flies out of your nose if you swing too hard.

A birdie is one under par on a hole. If you take 4 strokes to sink a putt on a par 5 hole, you get a birdie.
An eagle is two under par on a hole.
A bogie is one over par on a hole.
