Well what do you want to know, some abreviatons companies will use is SD meaning "Standard definition" 3ccd which is a fine picture, HD meaning "high definition"

I would suggest to get a cam that is Mini-DV, they are still the leading style of cams. DVD cams and HD cams still have some improving to do.
