i neither hate god nor love him!! what irritates me is some but not all who say, i cant go to heaven because i don't go to church and because i believe in evolution then i cant believe in god. what self righteous clap trap, how do they know that evolution was not gods will in the first place. when some one asks a serious question like how does the internal combustion engine work and somebody answers Jesus is the giver and the creator, what sort of use is that to anybody and besides, Jesus was a prophet not a god. now then back to me i know my own heart and i believe that god will know whats in my heart and that i live a good and honest life, i believe god is in me, not in Churches! i find and believe that churches are corrupt . i apologise if i answered your other question last week a bit harshly but i was getting a little angry with some of the bible bashing going on in yahoo answers. i try to answer peoples questions as honestly as i can and sometimes i let my feelings overflow a little to the point where perhaps i shouldn't answer. as i said i do believe in god but i do not think that he helps in our day to day lives by saving some while others die. i don't think god would be that cruel .we will meet god one day just not on this earth.

I haven't found anything, that's why I post and answer questions in this category.
I have asked very serious questions about god and it always seems that the ones that do believe in god are the ones that leave deep hatred type of answers toward me. It's backward for me from what you are saying.
But it doesn't really bother me because it makes me realise that not everyone knows everything. It takes all kinds and if we were all the same, life would probably be both pointless and boring. IMO

If you are a Christian why would it bother you to receive hate mail? I am a Christian and if I am to follow Jesus's great commission I just need to tell the message of Salvation through repentance of sin and trust in Jesus Christ and let the chips fall where they may. You never know when someone will read God's message and become convicted and trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. If one person is converted it is worth it all. God bless

Don't flatter your religion. Xtians flood this section with bigoted "questions" (comments) against atheism, paganism, and satanism. Most are looking for a platform to evangelize. I don't believe in your god, so I don't hate "him". However, I don't like the hypocrisy that is your religion. If Xtians think it is acceptable to condemn and disrespect other people's beliefs, by pushing their own upon others, then expect a backlash. The category is Religion and Spirituality, not Christianity.

people have different beliefs...to them it IS their religion or spirituality...there are many religions out there...
some that are filled with hate will leave hateful messages...not all...sometimes, even I want to leave a hateful message...i don't consider myself a hateful person, though...the ones that have a deep hatred towards God (the God I believe in) are the ones that truly don't understand Him in the way that I do...this does not make me OR them correct in our thinking or our respsonses...it also does not make us hateful...it is all just written text here and you cannot hear them say it...i feel we tend to throw a lot of our own thoughts into reading responses...
some can type in the words, "I love God" and be all caring and spirit filled, others can type the exact same words, but have a sarcasm that we will never know of...it is 90% the way it is read, not the words themselves

You miss the point, dear. None of those people you're talking about have a 'deep hatred towards God'. They don't BELIEVE in a God to begin with, therefore for them there is no God to hate in the first place.
As for why they come to this part of the answers board, they are curious and fascinated how so many otherwise normal people could possibly be SO deluded, and in a vain hope they perhaps believe they can open your eyes to the truth about the universe.

No. The truth is: some people believe in God AND some people don't.
Those that are sending 'hate' messages to those in the Religion/Spirituality section of Yahoo! Answers are entitled to their opinion whether it be showing strong feelings of angst against the views of those who believe in God or whether be that of understanding and empathetic thoughts.
Just because they choose to differ in what the Christians and Spiritualists have to say, does not mean at all that every single one of them are seeking God.
Your theory is both wrong, biased and judgemental.

1) This is only your fourth question. You're over-generalizing.
2) It's statistically improbable that "most" of your respondents were anti-religious, when the majority of users of this board are North Americans and the majority of North Americans are believers in one religion or another.
I've been here a few months now and I've seen plenty of unpleasant answers from christians. Stick around and you'll see what I mean.

No, Yahoo can no longer close it down. yet you're good. I used to come again here many times. returned in the days possibly 2006 or so I used to like it. notwithstanding it is so previous. it relatively is the standard crap. it relatively is little extra advantageous than a attractiveness contest. Atheists purely use it as a gamble to be sure what proportion situations they might use the word data, and that they are transforming into into this mob mentality of closed mindedness it is imperceptible except seen from the exterior. they'll justify it with the chant of "there is not any data" believing that their place is the only rational one and that they'll respond to questions like yours with "in case you do no longer like it then bypass away, it relatively is our classification and we dominate it so neener neener neener you are able to no longer stop us". in case you ask them why they are being such d*cks they are going to say "as a results of fact Christians decide to eliminate our rights, stop evolution in the school rooms, stop gays from being gay, etc" yet then they bypass and take it out on all Christians, which comprise maximum folk of which settle for evolution and gay rights. Theists do have a tendency to be somewhat much less arrogant and condescending, seeing as how they are the minority on those forums yet they often do a rather detrimental interest of answering the relatively questions that the atheists pose. it relatively is not any relaxing, and that i used to love the trolls yet they have gotten stressful with the aid of now as properly. i do no longer comprehend why I nevertheless come here. habit i assume. I many times purely come and seem at some questions which purely ascertain my earlier opinion that this classification is crap, then bypass away with out posting something. each and every of the countless varieties that at the instant are not overrun with opinionated loud mouthed idiots are ghost cities and get like one question each and every quarter-hour or so, or maybe much less solutions. Over 0.5 the solutions that those questions get are not even solutions they are purely links to web content, human beings breaking the regulations utilising solutions to generate hits to their internet site.

i think some people just like to have a go at religions, then again it works both ways, ive posted a lot of questions about religion/theology and in all of them i have had responses from christians (they claim to be) being rather offensive, a few have even told me im going to hell! brutal... but i wouldnt worry about it, God is always going to be a source or argument, lets be thankful at least some of it in is chat rooms rather than with guns!
