Because you've got a little thing called puppy love. Does she live close? If so why don't you ask her out and see where it leads? Just a thought.

It's nice how you put this under mental health. First of all if she's JUST your friend on Xanga, run, run like the wind (even though the wind doesn't technically run, so you better just run like Forrest Gump.) Second, it seems to me like you're infatuated with her. Infatuation could develop into love, so watch out, love is dangerous, and I'm pretty sure it's bad for your health. Maybe you should start hanging out with Cheri some more. Tell her that you want to be friends. Tell her that you like her ALOT but you still want to be friends. So that way if she feels that way back you won't have ruined anything between you two.

It's called an obsession and yes you can get her out of your mind. The key is that you have to want to do so.
Whenever your thoughts turn towards her, do something else preferably something that requires your total concentration. No matter how many times your mind starts to turn towards thoughts of her, turn it towards something else. Eventually the thoughts of her will diminish than cease altogether.

If u can ask her out on a date.. do it. If not try finding a girfriend the new girl will make u 4get the old one. Do other things to keep urself busy!!
