You have to be the 1,000,000th person to ask this question. LOL

I am familiar with it, but I don't believe it.

Spiritualism is on the rise and for the most part it sounds pretty good, there is alot of spirituality going on, wonderful, beautiful, to see and witness that everyone is getting on the spiritual bandwagon. Its all relative they say, all things are good - spiritualism is the second fastest growing religion behind Muslim.

Thats scary, there is more prophecy floating around out there now than there ever has been. Why? Does this not set off alarms? Or does it just seem just part of this day and age we are in. Many people feel we are about to engage in a "New Age of Spirituality" they have their prophets from the last century, Jean Dixion, Nostradamus reared up from the dead, Shirley Mclaine proclaiming herself the prophetess of the New Age movement an on and on it goes eve to these this set of prophecies.

The bottom line in all of this is what is really behind it all. What is really going on here? People are being duped into thinking that this stuff is harmless fun, its great, its alot of self help - discover the inner god in you. They tell you you are a god just recognize it in you. Reincarnation, Its a stew out there - just one problem though - there is also the deceiver who is coming who has been stirring and stewing this spiritual cauldron for the past 6000 years! He has done a good job of making everyone become more spiritual minded! But its not true spirituality! It is dangerous! Deadly! Poison! It will kill you and if you adhere to it the path that it leads you too is the pits of Hell.

There is true prophecy found only in the Holy Bible which has been proven to be 100 percent accurate!

The question is what other set of prophecies have come even close and which would you believe?

That which was 100 percent accurate or that which is semi or not proven at all to be accurate?

Your decision.

I am very familiar with the Mayan Calendar and it doesn't predict anything except that the 13th Baktun (a Baktun is 396 years long) will start on 12-21-2012. This is NOT the end of the calendar or the end of the world.
Also on this day, and there's speculation that the Mayan predicted it and put the 13th Baktun there on purpose, there is a grand once in 26,000 year astronomical alignment between the sun and the milky way at dawn which to the Maya signified the rebirth of the sun and the dawning of a new world age.
Our old world ended 10-20 years ago.
BTW, Precession is 26,000 years, not 64,000.

I have read about this. I think it's just that the Mayan calendar ends then, but nobody knows why. That doesn't necessarily mean that's the end of time. I think that we indeed are headed toward a new age of peace, and enlightenment, but in order to get there, we must first endure a Revelation type scenario, like in the Bible.

I am also reading the book on these prophecies. I would not lose any sleep over it. The same with those given by Nostradamus.
He said that his prophecies were the worst case scenario, and that we could change our world and oursleves to prevent our own doom.
Read and pay attention to what the Bible has to say. Despite all that has been done, the Bible continues to remain not only in print, but in its relevance. In the first book of the Bible, called Genesis, we have the following words from Our Creator. "While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease."
Chapter 8, vs. 22.
A little further on we read of God's covenant with Noah and all mankind as well as the animals. Know one thing, God "NEVER" breaks His covenants. Read chapter 9 vs.12 and following. And God said, "This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations. I do set my bow (rainbow) in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth".
So, we have the Creators "covenant", for "perpetual generations"
After a rain storm, you will see the "bow" and He, God sees this a remembers His "covenant".
That is very reassuring!
Secondly, Jesus, God's Son said the following; "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all nations; and then shall the end come." Chapter 24 vs. 14. This has not yet been accomplished! Jesus also warned us,"For many shall come in my name, saying,I am the Christ;and shall deceive many, vs. 4 same chapter, and "many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.", vs. 11. Along with the false prophets come the
false prophecies!

It is not a question of IF the world will end, but WHEN. In vs. 36,
same chapter and book, Jesus said:"But of that day and hour knoweth no man,,,"
Prepare yourself now, repent of your sins, receive baptism. Believe me when the end comes, THE WHOLE WORLD WILL KNOW ABOUT IT. THERE WILL BE NO DOUBT!
After Jesus comes, it will be TOO LATE!
Hope this brings you comfort, as it did me.

I believe things will change but life will go on as always. You will have your ups and downs and our world will be trying to figure out how to come up with another war. Maybe even how to raise more prices. But the world wont end.

I hope their predictions are more accurate than those of the Jehovah Witnesses.

The J Ws got it wrong again, a couple of years ago. Now they have decided to hedge their bets and use less precise phrases. Then they will be right whatever happens.

This is associated with the 'Procession', which is an astronomical event that occurs every 64,000 years. The Mayans
predicted this event over 2,000 years ago. The only fact we know is that this astronomical event will occur. What changes will follow is unknown.
