The bite of the Brown Recluse spider can be fatal. But with quick response and medical attention the effects of the bite can be overcome.
The bite causes a slow decay of the tissue around the bite and the doctors usually have to excise (cut out) that portion of flesh. Not an easy thing to think about but the alternative is a slow, lingering death.

They are called Brown Recluse spiders. You are right their bite is fatal but if you go to the emergency room as quick as possible, you can survive. The bite will look like a mosquito bite but bigger, more red, and really painful. It will also have a yellowish ring around it and if you wait too long the tissue around it will start to die. If not taken care of ASAP, the venom will travel to the heart and kill the person. For more info, search for "Brown Recluse" Spider in the web.

well the brown recluse is a fatal spider, but not others. a brown recluse is large and has a violin shaped marking on its back, a bite from it will start a process where your skin will start dissolving and then once it hits your blood system your screwed. but other brown spiders do not have a bite that will do more than sting. but just a little FYI.... daddy longlegs have the most poisonous bite of any spider in the world, but their jaws are so small that they cannot bite human flesh. freaky indeed!
