Garnet what is the brand of that peanut butter with the green top or whoever know what brand Garnet is talkin about cause i cant find it.!? thank everyone for the answers love it. :D

In reality, it is the jelly that you eat with it. It would take a lot of peanut butter to make you gain weight. The answer, without all the hype and hog wash, is no, not alone.

Eating too much of anything can make you fat...Peanut butter is actually relly good for you and has lots of protein, the jelly helps because of the sugar in it-energy to help your metabolism to keep working. The worst thing that could turn into a problem would be the "type" of bread-like white has more calories than wheat, but even then any kind of bread will atleast help keep you full so you won't eat too many if you're worried about gaining.... Keep enjoying those, they ARE great :)

Peanut Butter like everything else should be consumed in a certain quantity the only thing that isn't fattening on this earth is pure natural water. Just watch your intake and what you eat it with try the low fat paenut butter and sugar free jelly. They have improved a lot of these products over the years.

I love peanut butter, too. The brand I like is CRAZY RICHARDS which has JUST peanuts in it. NO salt, sugar or evil canola oil.

Since I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes last year I have since found out that a "dose" of peanut butter every day is quite good for me--hooray!!

Try some on bread (whole wheat is good) with some honey. Yummy!

The body needs some fat everyday. Peanut butter is also a good source of protein. Try to buy natural peanut butter, most brand are loaded with sugar.

Walmart has the best peanut butter. It is the Great value brand, low fat, with a green top. I buy about 6 jars at a time, because you can't get it at all Walmarts. It is sooo good, if you use sugar free jelly with it. Dig in, and enjoy!

like butter peanut butter has a high fat content. better eaten off a spoon a tablespoon every 3rd day is great for you provided you watch the other calories you take in.jelly unless you buy the ones made from fruit sugars will put on an extra layer or 2. peanut butter is great for your skin and hair because of the protein so go ahead and enjoy it on its own from the jar with a spoon. try also to buy the organic jar with nothing added.

I have not tried it before, but sounds great! Rachel Ray did this, but before frying, she dipped the sandwich in an egg mixture, so it is like a stuffed peanut butter and jelly french toast! Thought you might want to try it that way too!
