best material for a pillow (comfort) and best material for a blanket (again, comfort)??

i'm looking for the most comfortable pillow material, inside outside cover whatever, and blanket, if you have ideas, let me know..

I agree with Chrissiwild about the "inside" of the pillow and blanket. As for the outside covers, nothing beats a high thread count cotton (I have 400 thread count sheets, pillow cases and duvet cover). The higher the thread count the higher the price, but it is well worth every penny-- I mean we spend about 1/3 of our life in bed, right?

I would have to say the tempur-pedic pillows are the best my mom has 2 of them and when I go over there I steal her pillow and lay on the couch with it! It is the most comfortable pillow I have ever layed my head on, you can get them at wal-mart they are about $25.00 but well worth it she has had hers for 3 years and it has yet to wear out! Go with a down comforter man those are the best too especially in the winter!

I agree with Satin for the outside of a pillow...down on the inside...and satin or down for the blanket. Very comfortable.

If you're not allergic, down is the best material for a pillow.

If you're not sensitive, cotton and wool combination is the bet material for a blanket.

down. Down pillows are the absolute best. Down comforters are also the best. They are light, yet warm and you can change how they look by getting different duvet covers. You can't go wrong with down...unless you are allergic.

I like Cotton or Fleece love the Fleece blankets in the winter

Satin pillowcases are nice. Also good for your hair, cotton causes damge to hair because it is abrasive.
