it had the maker of the trailer and the numbers below it, but every where i tried to run them they said needed 17 letters and numbers, think that is for a car not a trailer but dont know for sure.. do you know a web site that can run them or the licence plates for reg owner?

thats a part number for the tongue, can you license it as a home made trailer ??? some trailers come out of states where they dont need a title so they dont have VIN numbers. here in missouri we can license them as home made and they give us a VIN for them


florida is the same way, wiegh the trailer and if its under 2000 pounds it gets a tag, no title or anything

Michigan you just need to wiegh the thing at a scale bang get a plate.wisc. you dont need plates for trailers :) do ya have a bill of sale that should be all you need then see what the last person had it under at the dmv dot motor vechicle
