When I was a Kid it was " Nanny could I lick the bowl ".
My mum made Rock Cakes, they were awful & we used them as improvised Cricket Balls. I was a Tomboy I loved Cricket.
Smashed the Store Room Window & she refused 2 believe it was 1 of her cakes, she never made cakes 4 us again.
Don't blame her, huh?

I love licking the bowl. My mama told me the other day, don't lick that. It had cornbread batter in it. I loved it anyway. Women will tell us guys anything to stop us too. Their favorite line, "That had raw eggs in it. It will make you sick!"

theres this really funny home video of me and my momwhen were making cupcakes and i eats some of the batter when shes not looking and then i ask her if i can have some.....she said no and when she turned her back again i ate some more and i was about 2 at the time. when i watched it i thought it was comepletly hialrious.
