I ave always found meditation to be the best method, but sometimes it's hard to focuss on nothing!! i always use candles and somoe light music, then one day I jsut realized I didn't need that stuff anymore!! I also had to learn how to not think aobut not thinking, it's not the easiest thing to do of your ocd like me!!

Until you are able to use your own minds power at will, try using earplugs & a secluded area, i.e. lessen didtractions until you can focus.
