and i dont beleve in anything until i see it... BUT 5min ago every door in my house just opend , them slamed shut and everyone was watching TV apart from me...i was in the bath but herd the doors bang shut..! ... now my touch lamp is going on and off ...What is going on... Help please.. iv never seen anything like this and i dont like it...

sorry , iv found the problem , my Loft hatch was open !!! and that made the doors slam shut , due to the draft... .the lamp was just old and faulty... Thanks for all your help.

Don't be afraid, but the people who are sayin your house is haunted are close to right. Your home is possessed by demonic activity. If you are not a Christian you do not have the authority ot use the name of Jesus against this siutation, so you need to find a man of God, or a woman of God, and tell them what is going on. It is probably best to find a pastor if there is one nearby. Tell them what is going on and they will exorcise your home for you. I've heard of people doing it at a cost, but Pastor's should do it for free. On the other hand, it might be you. You said all the doors to the houses on the block opend and shut and everyone else was watchin television. So yes it could be you. If not though, call a Pastor and talk with them, take counsel from them, they are likelt to know what to do. Call the Pastor of a nondenominational church, or a Pentecostal church. They are more likely to have the answers you need. But be bold. Read your Bible if you have one.

Before you jump to conclusions lets determine if there is a perfectly natural explanation. For instance, all the doors opened and then slammed shut - - this sound like a change in air pressure inside the house. It could be caused by an air conditioning unit starting up. If your windows were open, it could be caused by a gust of wind.
In any event it does sound strange. Start documenting everything that occurs out of the ordinary. Carry a camcorder to record incidents. Both of these will be important if you proceed to the next step -- contacting a paranormal expert.

Is it windy...? My doors do that a lot, just not all at the same time... are you SURE it was all of them at once? What were your kids watching? Some ghost movie? Cause I've head of weird things happening when people play with Ouija boards, so why not when watching The Ring II? And touch lamps are weird and freak me out anyways... Just relax, assume everything is OK, and keep on living...if something else happens, start praying! You know what they say...one luck, twice coincidence, third time...ghost?

You may have ghosts in your house. See if there was a draft or an open window that could have shut the doors. Unplug the touch lamp, who knows it could always be faulty.

well, let's start with the easy one, the lamp...
Touch lamps turn on and off by touching a metal part of the lamp... how it does this is by sensing electricity... your body creates it, that's how nerves work, and why getting electricuted can kill...
maybe a storm is comming and there's alot of static??
is any of the other (non touch) lights flickering??
if the doors are totaly level, it's possable that a change in air pressure caused the doors to pull open (a reducing of air pressure will pull the air out, like a breeze), and then a wind blew em shut??
i dono... maybe your family is pulling a prank on you??

It's supposed to be the children that do it without them knowing that they are. I know it seems mad and sounds mad but it could be like as if they are calling out for attention without really saying or doing it, the subconscious. Go to a library as soon as you can and look it up, then it might make you feel less apprehensive in future etc. It happened to me many many years ago and it was my fault because I dabbled with the Ouija board and just left it and boo hooed it. But after that all was okay, so once again it could be in the mind. Hope all goes well.

The doors banging was probably due to some windows being open, this can cause doors to open and bang. The light flickering happens to everyone. Just the electrical cables going funny, nothing to worry about. Your just letting your imagination run away with you.

OK if you have looked logically at it , there is no earthquake ? no draughts etc ? all possible natural reasons ?
then we will assume that it may be poltergeist activity
don't panic ! this sounds worse than it is
it usually is just the energy of people in the home.... more commonly hormonal females between 13-18
although it may happen with others in the home but its rare
its usually brought about by a build up of energy ... anger frustration etc
