Ok I'm 19 and still really scared of driving. I want a car that will be reliable and not have too many problems. Which out of these 3 cars is better or if you can reccomend a different one.

Thanks!

The Honda a friend is selling for $4000 but we think we can get it down to $3000 it's so much because it's REALLY fixed up body kit and everything new paint expensive alarm, stereo, etc. But like you said I might wreck it..

The Nissan Sentra someones selling for $1500 but I haven't seen it yet or know the milage.

The Nissan Altima is a car my mother-in-law gave to us before my husband lost his license so right now she has but its really ****** up - dents, rust, bad a/c, bad engine, ciggarate burns in the seats, food stains on the floor.. Would cost alot to fix it

What you guys think?

get the cheapest one... that way when you run into things you wont be totally sad

once you get the hang of driving, have a few years under your belt, upgrade to a nice car

You are 19? Oh, nice age.

Take my advise - buy a used car and run it first till you are 25. By that time you will have, a good job, saved enough to buy a new car.

A used car? Buy Honda Civic. It runs and runs without problem.
Or a Mazda 323. They both are very reliable and easy on gas. You should not have to spend any more than $7000 for these cars after licence, taxes and insurance. That will probably cost about $80 or $90 a month. for 5 years.

Why used car? at 19, statistically speaking - you are likely to bang them up (accidents, silly..!!) more than any other age group. If you have a fender bender on a new car you will be so upset for months.

After you reach 25 - depending on what you can afford, you can go for the best.

The 94 Honda, your insurance and cost of the car will be lower. Most people wreck their first car as opposed to any other car they own so I wouldn't get something too expensive.

Renault Clio. i might want to extraordinarily propose it for a standard timer. great dealing with, gasoline effective, user-friendly to insure, 4 seats for some acquaintances, ... each and every little thing you want and for an effective fee ticket!

an older vw is great on gas, easy to learn to drive, and with the gas prices it is very cost effective, plus they are a great little car with very little maintenance
