It's NOT freecreditreport.com.
The government sponsored site is DEFINITELY annualcreditreport.com. The free credit report site they advertise on commercials is one of the bureau's sites, and they give you a free report and try to get you to sign up for credit reporting services. Don't be scammed. You can also go to the FTC's web site and verify this.

freecreditreport.com is the website you are looking for. However, keep IN MIND THAT YOU WILL ONLY SEE YOUR CREDIT REPORT NOT YOUR CREDIT SCORES!!!!
I will suggest though that you subscribe to their credit monitoring service since it will help you should you become an identity theft victim. it's worth it really...plus after your 30-day trial you can order your own credit report as much as you want with your updated credit score for Experian (only) unstop KEEP IN MIND THAT RUNNING YOUR OWN CREDIT REPORT DOESN'T HURT YOUR SCORE

It is a catch to get you to sign up for stuff. You can get a free report if you are denied credit.
