It said on the form that it includes a pap test. Whats that?? And it also includes a tetanus shot, meningitis shot, and penicillin shot to prevent infection. Do these hurt?? Where are they give?? Is it embarrising having a group physical? Do they give u a gown?

I don't know why you would need a pap test for cheerleading! It is a gynecological exam...but, the shots are important. You need to keep up on theose whether or not you are a cheerleader. You have to have a "group physical?" What part of the country do you live in? That sounds like it should be a private thing between you and physician. Yes, they give you a gown. If you are uncomfortable then that's not cool. Ask questions about the pap test, and demand privacy. It's your right!

The pap test will be private. That is when a Gyno takes a scraping from the cervix to check for atypical cells or cervical cancer. It doesn't hurt and it is necessary for a female to have done once a year.
As for embarrassment, try not to worry. All of the other girls will be feeling shy too. I dobt that they will put you all naked in one room and examine you.

girl don't you worry... they don't hurt... its basically...shot in the arm... so don't freak out... ofcourse if you're gonna take your clothes off...they will give you gown... but be... comfortable...
