Don't say the word "relationship" or the word "serious." Don't be so "serious" yourself. Don't worry about starting a serious relationship with her, why don't you just enjoy the company of an old dear friend? It's great that you are going to the reunion. At the end of your stay try saying something like, "I had such a great time with you and I'd really like to do something like this again. Would you be interested in coming out to visit me and my kids? We have this great (children's activity in your area) that I think your kids would love. How about it?" If she says yes, great, start tossing around some dates. If she says no, then she's not ready. Give her space. Take her email address and write her messages at least once a week (keep them brief). Good luck.

Well, you're right, the last thing you want to be is pushy. I would suggest you take it slow and let it naturally develop into a serious relationship. For now, continue to enjoy each others company and allow her to fall back in love with you. Remind her of all the things about you that made her be in a relationship with you. Progressively, give her hints about how you feel about her and maybe towards the end of those days you're going to be spending with her approach her with idea of rekindling the relationship.

First ask her how she feels about serious relationships. If she says she would like one, then proceed and move in. If she says she's not looking for one, then at least you'll know. This is probably a good way to see what the other person wants, without being pushy and making the outcome awkward.

You both are so blessed to find each other after so long being apart after school. Maybe she wants the same thing as you do and is waiting for you to reply. Just go see her or call her right away and tell her how you feel and what you want for your lives. I think God has his hands in this one, please, do it for you, her and your children.. God bless you and I wish all of you the very best..Ask her to marry you isn't that what you want. Both sides deserve a whole complete family with Love.. Zella

well first of all start by talking to her casually just to be friends, then talk about relationships and stuff, and ask her if she's ready to commit in a serious relationship again, and that you'd treat her well.

she's probably feeling the same way about it so just take it slow, the key to not hurting someone is to not allow yourself to be hurt. you both have alot to lose, be patient and don't move too fast!
