Don't you know?
That's why you're supposed to collect your saliva when you chew tart gum... after about a month, you have enough to soak the chopped cabbage in, along with some cumin and splenda.
Let it soak about a week until it has the consistency of tofu and voila! MUCH more delectable than that detestable seedy watermelon!

No. Cabbage is a vegetable, not a fruit, so it wouldn't be a good substitute for watermelon. Just go to the store, buy some watermelon and you'll have a great fruit salad that people will actually eat...lol

If you have cabbage and no fruit, why not make a cole slaw instead?

I have had cole slaw with pineapple chunks, and it was good.

Otherwise, I would say no to cabbage in place of watermelon.

sure yummy, but use the purple cabbage to give you the color that the watermelon would oh and throw in some prechewed roast beef for texture. p.s. what time is lunch?
