It may not be the dumbest, however it is certainly a leap to say it looks like the Virgin Mary. It could be most anything if left to the imagination. Some people need something to hang on too.

To me it looks more like a kestrel, it is a falcon. It is on a stump. I don't see how anyone can stretch it that far. Even if the virgin Mary wanted to appear, why the **** would it be in a chocolate bar? Is she telling you, she is with you in your candy? Something more substantial would make sense. I am atheist, but assuming Christianity is correct, it does not inspire me to think she has nothing better to do than appear in candy. I would not want that to be my afterlife.

I can understand their excitement over it, but everyone keeps brushing over one important key idea when it comes to images of both Jesus (saws) and Mary (ra):
Whatever picture their object resembles is not a picture of Jesus (saws) or Mary (ra), but rather an artist's rendering of what he thought Mary or Jesus may have looked like half a millennia before he picked up the brush. Lol, if you look closely at many paintings of the renaissance era or the Ottoman rule, you may find Quran written on the fabrics draping them.

Yesterday morning at breakfast I saw Elvis in the oatmeal? But that chocolate Mary looks like the Maltese Falcon to me.

Personal "revelation." I highly HIGHLY doubt that the Catholic Church will recognize it as anything other than someone's experience.

The whole thing reminds me of watching clouds and looking for shapes. You can find anything you want, if you look hard enough.

when I saw the picture of the chocolate blob... i couldnt make anything out of it... it was only after they held it next to a picture, i could see the resembelance. I suppose you could make anything you wanted out of an amorpheous blob of chocolate!

Perhaps and perhaps not. The lady in question said she was having doubts about God and it does look much like Our Lady of Guadalupe. Fitting as she is hispanic. If it gives her comfort then it matters only to her.
