I agree with your question, I am not a smoker, never have been, but I have been around smoker, hence inhaled their smoke. 2 years ago, I was diagnosed with cancer, I am now cured thanks to an operation and much treatment, I need to stay clear 3 more years yet, but I hate it when people smoke and never get cancer, it should be them not us non smokers that get it, after all they are the ones poisoning their bodies and we don't.

I'm not a smoker - but those "holier" the thou non-smokers who complain deserve cancer and like Paysy Ramsey their "god" may just give it to their hypocritical azzes. The numbers do not add up for this antu-smoking campaign - and what about smoke from fire, chimney, car, trucks, and burning coal, and etc and etc. You people who complain about cigs need to get a life. At least take the time to consider the numbers dying of cancer against total population and you'll see that this is just a diversion issue to keep the cattle's minds off the true issues.

I don't feel guilty in that way. If that's the case, I'd be in therapy for feeling guilty for everything else I do. Drinking with no liver probs(yet), weed without hurting outside people, ect. People react to things differently than others and the reactions come sooner than others. I know my time might come sooner or later, which is why at 33, I've started to slow down and soon quit all together. Can't let others misfortunes guide your life's directions. You have to be YOU and make your own choices and screw ups. You can learn from them, but don't change just because they were unfortunate, change because YOU want to change.

No I don't feel guilty, because I know I will get it in the end. My dad died of lung cancer and he smoked. I gave up for a bit, turned into a miserable, nasty person, and started again. NOw I'm me. The American guy who did that self help book (scuse my ignorance at not rembering his name) and helped hundreds of people to stop smoking got lung cancer decades after quitting. I think if your gonna get it you will.
I am an addict and my addiction is what makes me the person I am! If I blame anyone it is the people who sell this addictive substance, legally. It kills millions

No I dont feel guilty. My mum smoked for 60yrs gave up a year and a half ago. 6 months ago she was told she had pancreas cancer and she had 3 months to live. She died 3 months later and was convinced it was the stopping smoking that caused it.

No, its the luck of the draw.
Console yourself with the fact that more people get cancer from bad diet than smoking.
