In this text, Peter asks Jesus how he could allow any to suffer in Hell. Jesus tells him that all are saved, even those in hell, if they just repent. Funny how this one was excluded by the council of Nicea isn't it?

Yeah, real funny. Especially considering that it contradicts the words of Christ Himself in Matthew 7:14, just to name one instance. There's a reason Peter's Armageddon wasn't included: it wasn't inspired by the Holy Spirit.

If I'm not mistaken, after a thousand years, those in hell will be given another chance. God is just, no one goes into hell without the chance to accept Jesus. From what I understand of hell, it will be a place of separation from God and others, a place to reconsider.

what text? Anyone who accepts Jesus Christ as their savior and believes in him, asks for forgiveness, and repents are saved. It's as simple as that. All those who deny Jesus Christ and God, will go to hell. Those who are in hell stay in hell. Those who are in heaven stay in heaven.
