Whats race have to do with it? If you want to tell then tell BUT I recommend you first learn to talk to him about stuff in general. See if he has interest in you and you still in him

first off, race shouldn't stop you. second, have a friend tell him, write a note or tell him yourself! be confident and just say it! its best to say it at the most random point in time because no one (not even him) will be expecting it. best wishes! :)
