Give us enough details to know what you're having problems with and we can give you detailed answers..
Of course, the other problem is, some of us don't want to jump in and answer when a question has good answers already..

I would keep the main question short or ask it in a way that sounds interesting. Categorize it so that you will have a better chance of getting an answer to your question by someone who knows what your talking about.

Do you want more answers, or better answers?
To get more answers, you just post a question about some controversial topic "George Bush is an idiot" for example.
If you want better answers, you ask a pointed question you really want an answer to.

The stupid ones get lots of answers. I would give up on asking intelligent things, most people on here are immature and rude, and just want to be nasty to others.

Show your questions in a more attractive way. For example, show a key word in you question all in capital letters, such as:
"Why is the SKY blue?"
This way people will have more interest in what the question has to say.

Ask questions that you dear readers can answer personally, but don't get too personal.

vote mine "best answer"
that way I will save your ID & when you ask a question...I'll get an alert & submit an answer.
If you vote me "best answer" repeatedly...my answers will contain phrases such as "mortangle2006; that is a brilliant question..."
or "m2006; I marvel at your intelligence..."
