The Jewish Messiah is to bring peace, etc.,. Did your Jesus do this? The Jewish Messiah is not to be G-d, son of G-d, etc., but a man--just a man. There were many who said they were the Messiah--all false messiahs. Jesus is another one of these.
Christianity is the only religion who says Jesus is the Messiah, and Paul found himself a good power play when he pushed Jesus and a new religion. And, it was a new religion and not an extension of the Jewish faith, as some will tell you. The some being Jews for Jesus, Messianic Jews, and such.
A person cannot be a Jew and a Christian both. They are two different religions and he must choose one.

When Jesus came--the Jews wanted him to actually rule like David did because Jesus was from the house of David. But if you read the Old Testament you will see that David was not born of royal blood but placed on the throne by God Himself. The Jewish commuinty wanted the Messiah to upset the Roman rule that was in Israel at the time. Herod was just a figurehead for the Romans

Because he doesn't meet to Jews what the messiah is suppose to be like. Christian acknowledge this with their idea that Jesus will have a second coming. That does not match the Jewish ideal of the messiah that he needs to come twice. However, if Jews are wrong they will happily acknowledge this if the messiah show up and says hey you know this is my second trip here guys.

It isnt just your people,it is a worldy problem. People dont believe because it is easier not to. I just got done reading Cracking the Da Vinci Code and yes I also read The Da Vinci Code. In the book the two authors explain that the world finds flaws in Christianity,(the Bible is Vague,Christians are covering up secrets.....so on and so forth). They dont just do this because they dont believe or are mislead, they do it so they can justify the sin of the world in one easy step.....Denial. They find flaws and deny belief so that it seems like they are doing nothing wrong. Yours and My goal is to spread the word of Christ amongst every heart we can but not every heart will open up to you and me or most importantly God.

It is, by definition, impossible for it to be "jewish" to believe in jesus. "Jewish" is, by defintion, what jews have historically and contemporarily believe. Since in neither scenario do we find "believing in jesus", then we must clearly realize that belief in jesus is not something "jewish". You can call it "biblical" (and still be wrong), but certainly not "jewish".

Because for some demented reason, people the world over believe THEIR God is better than everyone else's God, not really realizing, or apparently not caring, that there can only be 1 God and HE is here for everyone.
