A sea slug dumpling, whilst dining in Beijing in China,
every one at the table went green, as I ate it, well you have to don't you, when in Rome? ( I washed it down with Hot Rice Wine, which was nice) but to be honest, it did not taste horrible or of anything really, And I did wonder, if it was called by a nicer name would they all have had a taste and enjoyed it???

Surgical spirit.
I used to work in a detox centre for chronic alcoholics. They used to buy it (37p a bottle to get completely smashed) and mix it with orange juice. So, one day I dipped my finger into a bottle just to see what it's like.
It tastes like you'd expect. I guess when you're that far gone into alcoholism, you don't have taste buds any more anyway.

When I visited the US I could wait to taste a twinkie (sorry if I spelt it wrongly), it was not as I imagined at all, infact it was horrible and so are corn dogs... yuk, olives, marmite, shellfish, kalimari, tripe, lambs hearts, pigs trotters, tongue (my mother in law used to cook strange stuff), the list just goes on and on!!!

Tapioca pudding for the texture. My brothers told me it was frog's eggs, and to this day I cannot eat it.
A cup of coffee that tasted like burnt rubber tires. I didn't drink coffee for 3 months after that.

I was once strimming my garden and I connected with a Frog. It splattered all over the place and I ended up with half of it in my mouth! I couldn't get rid of the taste for days!!!!!

My hubby was changing son's nappy (in the dark) whilst eating a biscuit, dropped a bit of his biscuit, fumbled around and picked up what he thought was the biscuit and popped it in his mouth. Our son had been very constipated......
Can't imagine that tasted good!!!!!

snails. we had to pick them out of their shells with a pin and eat em otherwise the teacher organising our school french trip wouldnt allow us to go up the eiffel tower the next day.
like eating solid mint sauce lovingly garnished with cats vomit.
