It looks the same to me, and I think we should just get them in a boxing ring and duke it out and leave the rest of us in peace. They both miss the point that God commands us to be merciful.

Some others have answered that Christian fundamentalists haven't blown up buildings, etc. I disagree. Essentially, the KKK is a Christian fundamentalist group and their history HAS had a few bombings, etc. I know the flag of Christianity has marched with people who were anything BUT the reflection of Christ, but the same can be said of Islamic extremists vs. the Islamic faith. I think it can be said of all of these extremists that they have perverted (as mankind tends to do) the love of their Creator and God.

the version between fundamentalist Christians and Muslims is what they carry as user-friendly. As a Christian I carry as user-friendly that i love God and others. As Muslim fundamentalists, human beings seem to need to kill unbelievers. As for those Christian fundamentalists who get slightly obsessed about politics (this coming from someone doing it at Uni) and preaching hate adversarial to professional abortion and gay human beings they are not being authentic to the basics of the Christian faith. genuinely the anti abortion/gay Christians are disobeying Jesus in that he informed us now to not guage or to be hypocritical- we are all sinners. we've were given to encourage human beings to face the very undeniable actuality that they are sinners yet then factor them to the Saviour that we've depended on in- we are no more desirable helpful or worse than everybody else.

well the christian variety seems somewhat less rabid and obsessed with taking over the planet. but, as you imply, the mindset is quite similar. generally, i've found , that fundamentalists from all belief systems share in common: high level of fear and confusion and thus a driving need for certainty and "comfort", not too reflective or bright, easily influenced, and led, especially by sociopaths with the agenda of maximizing their own power and bank account via depleting the sheep of theirs.

I may be ignorant, but I don't know of any Christian fundamentalists who've tried to blow him/herself up while attempting to take as many others as possible.

Then again, most of the islamists who are doing this are simply followers. The world would be a much better place if Osama would try this himself!

How would you know? Have you ever been shot at because a christian fundamentalist didn't like the way you dressed? No. At least I haven't and most of my friends are christian.
