There is no general beliefs among atheists. We are also known as freethinkers because our belief systems are each individuals responsibility.
Personally i believe that people have the choice to do right or wrong and everyone is responsible for their own behavior and actions.
I believe morality is a byproduct of causality. Every action has consequences. If the action causes more harm than good over the course of it's 'aftershocks' (if you will) then it can be considered wrong. Things like this must be taken into consideration before actions are taken.
I believe our minds are the greatest tool we have and they should not be wasted. At the same time they are our greatest enemy because our minds like to fool us into believing things that aren't necessarily true... We must remain vigilant about investigating not only the claims of others, but our own claims as well.
I also believe we only get one chance at life... so we better do all we can to enjoy it and help others enjoy it as well.

Atheist don't believe in god. After that is is on an individual basis. A person may not believe in the ( not to offend you, that is just a comparison) tooth fairy, but that does not change the other things they believe. I believe in ice cream, etc. As far as religion goes, I on a personal level don't believe any of it. I believe what many other people believe, just without the spirituality. I believe in the world around me with no higher power. I don't have any specifics, as you question is very open.

Just about everything, to a point. There is some truth in all Ideas, but there is a problem with interpretation. The Bible says: In his Image, created he them.
The problem is that people take the word "Image" to be what god looks like. This is just one example of interpretation.
MY IMAGE: I am not a single entity, I am somposed of millions of individual cells. If every cell in my body is where it is supposed to be and doing what it is supposed to do at the time it is supposed to do it,
I am in good heath. "I" am in fact, just pure energy housed in a corporeal body that is necessary for me to exist in this particular plane.
I believe that all life forms are really bits of energy and that energy has no physical size. The energy inhabiting an ant's body, is the same as the energy inhabiting all living beings.
My philosophy of living is based upon these ideas.
I am on schedule if I am where I am supposed to be, when I am supposed to be there. If I get ahead of schedule, something or someone always slows me down. the opposite it true if I get ahead of schedule, something speeds my up.
If I am behind a slow driver, instead of becoming angry, I just think I am ahead of schedule and I relaxe and slow down. If a parking place is waiting for me, I know I am on schedule. You might try this for a while and see how it works for you.
I believe that we are living inside of an extra universal being and that we must be the same to that being as our individual cells must be to us.
Maybe I am ahead of my time here, but that is the way I believe also that, if I want to always stay happya nd healthy, I must do what is "Right".
That does not include listening to some bible thumper, most of whom are the equivalent of tape recorders.

Paying my taxes. Actually I'm not an atheist, but neither do I have a religion. I believe there probably is a god, but I also believe he makes absolutely no friggin sense. For example, why the heck did he put us here? If he's all powerful why does he need play things to keep amused? We serve no material purpose to an all powerful being. So mostly I'm still searching for what to believe in, but right now, I mostly have faith in humanity. We're an endearing species, lets see how long we last.

Really, you can't classify atheists in the same way you do religious types. The only thing that atheists have in common is that, primarily, they reject the notion of God. Personally, I consider myself an atheist in that I completely reject all the "popular" notions of God, but I believe in God as a metaphor for the universe. Science and all religions seek to answer the same questions; science is just a lot more work.

What are you on about?
I believe I'll have a salami and cheddar sandwich for lunch.
I believe I'll buy the V for Vendetta DVD today.
If you mean "Do I have spiritual beliefs?" then no, I don't.
We're chemical processes working together, stuck to the side of a marble spinning in space, nothing more.

It can best be answered by saying what we DON'T believe in. By definition, Atheists do not believe, period. We believe faith is wrong, that to have faith is to simply take someone's word for it, without questioning it. This is what is know as free will. Believers, and the faithfull do not have free will, nor are they allowed to have it.

I'm sort of an atheist.
i believe in love.
i believe in a soul that looks like a spiral made of tiny and colorful drops of water.
i believe in a smile.
i believe in the world as a whole, not as a gathering of parts.
i believe it's all in the mind.
