I spent 26 years in the Air Force, I don't believe I would of been happy with any other service - with that said - the USMC, if other than being a "grunt" would of been my next choice - I feel they have the most disipline and respect of all the services - most professional

There is no way I would ever dream, hope, or want to be a Jar Head. Hell, it would be a waste of time for anyone with an asvab score over 60 to even think of joining the Marines. They are not even a real branch of the military they are part of the department of the Navy.

Im in the us navy nuclear program and I can safely say that ill take the navy any day.besides the simple fact that Ive miserably whipped the arrogant *** of many a marine, and I get paid more money than most any marine could ever dream of getting paid.so you can keep your "coveted eagle, globe, and anchor" and I'll take my degree.

When it comes to fighting the Marines are the ones I want to be with.

On the other hand if I wanted better everything, any of the other services would do.

Small price to pay to bare the title of United States Marine

Sorry I joined the US Army for a reason and wouldn't change that for the world.

The Marines are over rated and need to be knocked down a few pegs in my opinion. See we were taught one for all all for one. The military in the military and the marines need to learn that also.

I'll say... Not me! Why would I want to be part of a group that is a sub-group of the Navy? I didn't want to be in the Navy, let alone the side-kick of the Navy. That is why I joined the Air Force!

I'm just glad that someone picked the USMC, someone has to do it!

AAHH!! Uncle Sam's Misguided Children!!! We loved havin' them at Ft. Benning for jump school. Too bad they kept forgettin' their chutes! Well, Jar heads do bounce pretty good. Semper Fi, Mack!
