I killed because I was a soldier. It was not for God and it certainly was not for the money. It was perhaps because I was afraid that others would kill or imprison me if I did not. Perhaps it was because others around me were doing it. One slips into habits exemplified by others.
I worry about being in the presence of either those who kill for money or for God. I guess you know more where you stand with a person who kills for money: as long as there is not a contract out on you, you are relatively safe. With someone who says "God wills it" (good Templar motto), you really do not know where you are with them. Who knows when their God will whisper in their ear and say that you are evil?
As far as evil, I will leave that question alone. Evil is a human construct that only can be judged within a religion. I do not subscribe to that kind of religion.
And for faiths that say that their God says "Thou shalt not kill" I think the lawyers have gotten it down to "thou shalt not kill unless it is someone who is of a different faith or subfaith, someone who might be threatening your life or property, or someone who just is in the way of your oil."

The one who kills in the name of god. The one who kills for money is evil enough, but he will usually admit that what he did was wrong. Those who kill in god's name are far more evil, because they are convinced it isn't even wrong.

i dont think there is a greater evil then any other evil. Bible classifies a sin as a sin, not a level 1 sin versus a lvl 5 sin. But if you dont believe in God then the greater evil is one that kills in the name of God.

To me killing for either of those reasons is evil. I don't think all killing is evil, if someone tried to harm me or mine, I would take them down, no questions asked. I believe every person has the right to defend themselves with deadly force against someone using deadly force. But to kill because of money or some religious idea? No WAY!

Man who kills in the name of God is more evil.....To kill for money is simply human nature to want what you have and to kill you for it (it can be expected from some)........To kill someone in the name of God misrepresents God and is the epitome of hatred toward others.

The man who kills in the name of God.
Reasons:
The man who kills in the name of money is more honest because he knows he acts out of selfish greed.
The man who kills in the name of God attempts to justify his deed by blaming it on another. He is inherently dishonest because he fails to take responsibility for his actions.

Anybody that kills in the name of God will surely burn in hell. There cannot be much of that anymore. The more evil will be the one killing in Gods name but then he must be mad and madness is a good excuse in the legal fraternity. What God thinks about that is another matter

Neither is more "evil" in the eyes of God...all are equal parts of the Whole...
However... the key word here is "Kill"...an action that shows you know not God, which, if left as an expierience that did not move your spirit to grow to Him, you will have to go through another lifetime until you do...no rest period, no reunion with loved ones, no recharting option...for as long as it takes....
