Matthew 6:5-6 (New King James Version)
5 “And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 6 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

Still want to talk about how you want to pray for the souls of people that they find salvation on yahoo answers?

Yes, I do. I still pray in secret. But I have prayed for many people on yahoo answers, because it is a way to reach people who are searching for salvation, as well as people who are hurting, or have some serious problen that they don't know how to deal with, and need prayer. Jesus told us to go into the world and preach the Gospel. In today's society, the internet is a big part of that world, and if yahoo answers is where we find people who need our prayers for salvation, I'll pray for anyone (in the privacy of my home) who needs it.

Jim, you know very well that I've been praying for you since the day I first met you in this forum...I know you do, because I've told you so, before.
I guess I take after my Father...I am not willing that anyone should perish.
Besides, I like the way you think.

I pray for you and some of the others on here, every night! So don't sound so smug. I do it for you, not for me. I realize you don't want me to, but maybe someday, you will understand why I do. Hope you have a great weekend. :)

No. I love the Lord and He loves me. The Lord only cares what is in your heart. The bible should not be taken too seriously.

"Dear Lord, give me the strength to change the things I can, to accept the things I can't, and help me to know the difference." Amen.
