All these started in the ancient greek world and passed to the european and western civilization... Democracy, Court, Jury, Written History, Theater, Philosophy, the greek style in Art (Architecture and Sculpture), Sports (in general) and the Olympic Games and many more.

I think that there ideas of politics, the justice system and their appreciation for finer things has affected us. such as art and theater.
