Do your cat's follow you? Every room I go into all 3 follow me. The dogs don't do that, just the cats. Do your's do this?

We have an abandoned pit behind us that is now a giant pond. My daughter and I couldn't sleep last Saturday night so we went for a walk around the pond. We have four cats and all of them walked with us. We layed on the shore and looked at the stars and the cats hung out with us. It was too cool.

Yes... my cat used to come for walks with me and my dog too...lol that was before she became an indoor cat so she doesnt anymore. All 4 of my cats follow me and my 2 dogs too, they usually all find a spot to lay close by in whatever room I am in and follow when I leave to find a spot in the next room.... LOL

I have 2 cats, and they both do it. They are so cat-ish about it, and funny! They won't follow me right away, but they always end up "wandering" into the room I'm in and pretending they were going in there for a toy, or some food or something.

All the time! My female tabby also loves to lie downon my books when I read on my desk and she also tries to sleal my pen when I write. She is 13 years old, and still doing it!
My male siamese likes to sit on the desk and watch me type on my cumputer... He's 3 1/2 and still doing it. At least now he does'nt walk all over the keyboard like he used to...
My cats also follow me and wait patiently for me on my neighbour's porch when I go there for coffe. When I come out they strech and follow me back home...My siamese however sometimes meows and scratch the door untill I come out...(I sometimes have to leave early because of that...)
My neighbours have a cat and a dog, when they walk their dog on a leash, the cat follows them without the leash of course...
Yes It is typical for a lot of cats to do that. Arent they sweet and lovable!

I have one cat named Shady. He follow me through out the house , When I leave and come home he is waiting at the door for me. Always thought it was only dogs that did that.

Your cat's just following you because it sees you as its leader, and loves you enough to do that. My cat does that all the time as well as a way of guarding me.

my cats a inside outside cat and every time i go outside she likes to follow me around if im going on a walk or just around to the other side of the house i think they just like to be with you

My cat archie follows me to the toilet and bathroom and will wait outside the door untill i come out no matter how long im in there for. Sometimes he meows and paws at the door
