Do you think some dogs like music and can have a preference to what type of music they like to listen to?

come on , when a dog is doing laundry, cutting grass, driving, cooking, of course they wanna listen to music,, or they'll get bored. :-)

I believe dog's like music.
As far as what kind do they prefer to listen too? I think is all about their owners. If a certain kind of music makes their owners happy and joyous, then that is the kind of music the dog likes also.
They want whatever makes you happy because they want you to be happy. If you are dancing around and singing or chillin and just listening, they will pick up on your vibe and go along with the flow.

Absolutely! Some studies have found dogs response to certain types of music. Country music seemed to be a favorite among some canines, while others preferred soft rock. Rock and roll was definitely out.
Experiment with your own dog and see which it prefers. It may be fun!

I don't see why not. You have a preference to the type of music that you listen to. I just wouldn't turn it up too loud, because dogs ears are more sensitive to noise then what a humans is. Good luck

yes they like misuc. Especially if you are away from your house you should turn some music or a radio on because having some type of noise is soothing for the dog when it is alone.

My dog loves classic music adn music that doesnt have anywords. She layes there in the family room, falls asleep, and listens to the music

I think it depends one the dog wheather it likes it or not cause my dog appears the like it when i listen to classicl and gospel music. But my moms boston terrier is old and she hides when music is playing.... So it just depends what they like.. Dogs have personalities too..

Depends on the dog....had one that would hide if music was played...had another that didn't pay much attention at all.

Yep, my dog hates country music, he growls at it!! He likes Gansta rapp though....and most hip hop, which is really odd considering he is a Dobermann (german, not pincher)
