Okay I have auditory and visual hallucinations. And with "the voices" it varies with everyone. Mine have no discernable charactistics sometimes and other times they're multiple identities and sometimes it's a combination.

My girlfriend also suffers from hallucinations but hers are multiple identities: she has three different voices and she can discern all of them.

It does get bad but there are different drugs to use including but not limited to Geodon, Abilify, Serequel (I think that's how it's spelled) . . . They help but they don't prevent the voices from coming. . . .

Scitzoaffective disorder shows up often in the patient hearing "voices" among other varied types of hallucinations in their head that are a symptomatic of repressed memories and manifest themselves in strange out of character ways. These voices can be attributed to many different stresses and triggers and can sometimes last for weeks at a time, effecting sleep, mood, appetite and quality of life in general.

"Schizo affective disorder is a mental condition that causes both psychosis and mood problems.

Psychosis means a person has a loss of contact with reality and may have hallucinations (hearing voices or seeing things that are not present) and delusions (false, fixed beliefs). Mood disorder problems may include a very bad or very good mood with sleep disturbances, changes in energy and appetite, disrupted concentration, and poor daily function."

I wouldn't know, the only voice I hear in my head is my own.

I think all of those voices stem form one person in your head.
He just speaks in variable accents and tones.
