If you find a grey cockatiel with a yellow face in Georgia, please e-mail me at emmiecarroll@yahoo.com!! He is very special in our family and we are trying our best to find him. We (not me, he hates me) are whistling to him, and he whistles back. We have his cage out with food and water. It is really hot outside, and please, if you're in GA, please keep a look out. He is a very special bird. He answers to Uno, and if he likes you, he'll land on your hand. Uno loves to be rubbed on the back of his neck. PLEASE, if not in Georgia, USA, pray for his safe return.

Prayers may help, but you need to start posting flyers with a description of the bird, the area and how you can be reached. Contact your local animal services and humane society to file a lost report. Pefinder.com also has a lost/found posting section. Contact veterinarians in your area in case someone does find the bird and takes it there.

Get the flyers out yesterday and put one in your mailbox asking your postal carrier to keep an eye out for the bird. Check neighbors gargages and sheds.

And don't give up hope, just keeping looking!

I hope he comes back safely. You sound so sad. I wish I could give you one of the babies that my cockatiels had a few months ago to kinda make you feel better even tho I know yours was so special to all of you and cant just be replaced. But I am all the way in California. Hopefully he will come back and when he does have someone in the family cut his wings or take him to get them cut so he wont be able to fly away if by chance he gets out. Another suggestion is if you know someone who has a female that might be kind enough to lend her to you so she will help call your bird back. If he is still close by and hears the female he will come back. Thats probably what made him take off to begin with. He probably heard a female somewhere close by so check around if anyone in your area has a female and if someone does he probably isnt to far away. Good luck and dont give up hope.

I can't help but I offer my sincere wishes that you get it back. My bird was stolen and I know how you feel.
