Ok i am 14 and really like him, we see eachother a lot. but all he knows about me is my name. I am shy around him and just can't seem to talk to him.

he is a sophmore, i am a freshman... he is in the perussion section of the band, so am i. I just don't know how to even start talking to him...

open up to him, do it even if you have to force yourself to you. Become his friend, no matter how hard. Once you do this you'll see the REAL him, then you can figure whether he's for you or not. Once your friends start flirting around with him. But you need to make yourself be his friend first. Find something you guys have in common. At least he knows your name, that's a start.

im 14 also and im a little shy too. i have a boyfriend who is coming to visit me today and im a nervous wreck! but all i have to do is be myself. You should too! Talk to him about anything, ask eachother questions and get to know him more! show him you like him but dont show him your madly obsessed with him or he'll back off you. just give him a little hint and maybe he'll feel the same way toward you! ask him if he has aim or yahoo messenger or an email address, if he does, it might be easier for you to talk to him online or on the phone then in person.

You have to make something more happen or you'll be leering over this guy forever!! You're putting him up on a pedestal and believe me, no guy is that great!!! The longer you leave it, the more you'll talk yourself into thinking he's out of your league and if he's another of your class mates, he'll be just the same as you. Go for it, you'll feel better, worst that can happen is you'll get a bad reaction then at least you'll know he's not for you. Best that can happen is he'll get to know you better and you him and who knows what else?! Worth the risk I reckon.

OMG i had the exact same problem with my gf.... at one time i liked her and she only considered me a freind and i would always lock up when we talked.... then later,,, she starrted liking me back and it just got bad 4 both of us... just get2 know him.... it might take awaile but find somthing u both have in comen 2 talka bout and maybe it will get easier and less akward from there

Just talk to him and be all shy. Trust me, it's cute. The girl comes over...can't look the guy in the eye..stumbles over her words....it's cute. And it makes the guy feel good...the 'wow, I can effect her like this just standing here'.
It woun't be the end of the world, just say something...

It's anxiety. Just talking to him like any other person. Don't think of it as a date thing. When u r under pressure u may say or do something silly. don't try too hard. look at him as just another person

Is this a guy that will be worthy of your attention should you take the leap? If neither of you are commited or have a bf/gf. Go for it, worst case scenario, he tells you no. no harm no foul. hope for the best expect the worst. best of luck

Maybe have a friend go and strike up a conversation with him and then casually introduce you two. and then you could just make some small tlak wiht him and then ask if he would like to go see a movie wiht you and a couple of your friends and his friends.

Just go up to him...when you are so shy that you can;y even talk to him, that makes it more obvious that you like him...don't make it so obvious because that lessens your chances with him...he can know that you like him just don't be all shy and stuff
