What do you gentlemen like to receive on your birthdays? Does it matter? I'm trying to get something for my boyfriend, but I don't even have a basic clue. I know girls have categories and that makes it easier!

1: Shiny (mirror, jewelery, etc.)
2: Yummy (chocolate, fruit, a kiss.)
3: Fluffy (a teddy bear or soft pillow)
4: Smelly- No, not like that. (perfume, shower gel, etc.)

Anybody? He loves the arts, so maybe a cd or something? Any good ideas would be much appreciated! Thanks!

treat him to a nice date right from the heart. i know a bunch of people will answre this saying for you to have sex with him, but if you are young, i would just go out on a date with him and treat him like a king. for a present, i would say that you should get number 2 (Yummy). every guy has a dark side, so do this and he will love you for it lol =]

Well, I 'm not much of a gentleman anymore, but truth to tell if you two are intimate, then wrapping yourself as a present or presenting yourself as a pressent can be alot of fun. But you two need a certain level of intimacy to do that. If you are not comfortable with that idea, don't do it.

Arts is pretty broad. You should have narrowed down his "love"

So why not take him to a musuem of fine arts or some art display. Perhaps an auction might be fun. you don't have to bid, just attend it and have fun. Then ask him what kind of art he likes most.

Your interest in His "other love". What I'm trying to say it would floor me that a woman understood that she is not the only source of happoness for a man and that she wanted to learn about about my interests.

And you seem to be pretty cool. LOL I am abit thrown of by your "categories" do women really have those categories??

I would prefer something from the yummy category. My ex made me dinner for my birthday once, and it was very nice. She greeted me with a big, fat kiss and had my favorite meal waiting for me. Perfect. If he's into the arts, maybe a nice book on the subject would fit the bill.

if he loves the arts get him art....find out who he likes that is an artist find out what kind of art he likes and try to find somethign his style....not fluffy....honestly ya its cute but a guy is always looking for something practical something touse... and a teddy bear and flowers is cute but then what....Smelly is good... i would like it... axe body wash and a cologne....spend a lil money though cuz its better that way ... i have armani and keneth cole and A&F fierce i lov ethem all... but there all around 40 to 70 dollars...Shiny....ya i like shiny my gf got me a platinum box chain necklace and i wear it every day its simple but adds a look and not huge and gaudy, yummy is good but i watch what i eat so no candy, yes a cd works too and if yoru thinking bout like getting him a bunch of little stuff that is fun too czu more to open....my gf got me a belt, a cd, a t-shirt, made a lil picture thing of us and then after i opened everything she pulled out to concert tickets to someone i really liked and we went that day so if he likes music then concerts are great too.... good luck have fun!

None of the above!!! Men regardless of their artistic inclinations are practical beings. Give him anything he will be able to USE, not see, smell touch or otherwise perceive with his senses. If he loves you he'll gladly accept anything you get him but if you really love hi, get him something he can use!

Well It's no big deal wat I get when it's my b-day but that's just me. I would say get him a gift card, treat him out 2 dinner, or if there's a CD he's been wanting go w/ that. Or 2 get ideas, ask him 2 go 2 the mall w/ u and go shopping toghether so u can see wat he likes or what he wants 2 buy so u can come back and surprise him w/ it on his b-day. Good luck.
