The Tories want to tax short-haul flights so that more people will go by rail. Do you think this a good idea as travelling by air is more polluting that rail?

Yes, I think it is a Good idea. What is wrong in having a holiday in your own country for once and let all the local traders reap the profits instead of fat-cat airlines and foreign hotels? People in the UK cannot give the weather as an excuse as we have had a wonderful hot and sunny summer so far.

Last time I looked Labour were in power so the tories can hardly decide what to tax. If you believe everything you hear about new taxes we would all be skint(we are pretty close now)
